It’s approachable for newer racers\, but still rewarding for experienced riders looking to test their fitness early in the season. \nMadras MTB is part of the PNW XC Series\, bringing together a strong mix of competitive racers\, junior development teams\, and riders just getting into the sport.

DESCRIPTION:The Mudslinger XC Race: A Northwest Tradition\nJoin hundreds from all over Oregon and the Northwest at the Mudslinger on the first Saturday in April for an annual celebration of mountain biking and one fun time since 1987. \nClimb or grind your way to the top of a ridge\, then bomb down fast-paced\, loamy trails built off our Pacific Northwest logging heritage. Thanks to the dedication of trail-building enthusiasts\, this experience continues to embody the spirit of adventure. \n\nCourse Highlights:\nA mix of fantastic old-school logging roads and approximately 35% singletrack most years\, designed to keep you on edge.\nChallenging climbs paired with thrilling descents make for a ride you won’t forget.\nBe Prepared:\nAn excellent front tire is a must to grip the dirt.\nWith temperatures usually between 50-55°F and a 40% chance of rain\, participants must be ready for anything.\nLocation and Legacy:\nSince 2001\, the event has been hosted in Blodgett\, Oregon—just 20 minutes west of Corvallis.\nThe tradition dates back to the 1991 NORBA State Championships\, which were held on this very ground.\n\nA heartfelt thank you goes out to Starker Forests for their support of the Mudslinger course and their commitment to recreation for all trail users in Benton County and beyond

DESCRIPTION:The Cohutta Races are an annual endurance mountain bike race located in Tennessee consisting of the Cohutta 100\, the Big Frog 65 and the Old Copper 30. The 2025 races will be held at the pavilion of the former Ocoee Whitewater Center in Copperhill\, TN.\nFrom mountain vistas to majestic waterfalls\, from flowing singletrack to soul-sucking climbs\, the Cohutta 100 has it all! For more than a decade\, the Cohutta 100 has been a staple on the endurance mountain bike scene. Hundreds of determined racers from around the world gather each year in the Cherokee National Forest to test their physical ability and mental fortitude on challenging singletrack and demanding forest service roads!  Over 12\,000 ft of elevation gain awaits your arrival! Are you ready? \nThe Big Frog 65 has been a southeastern favorite for years. With a higher ratio of climbing per mile\, it is merely shorter than the Cohutta 100\, but it isn’t less challenging. Racers will enjoy the same mountain views and fast descents from the singletrack through the Cherokee National Forest as the Cohutta 100\, but the gravel road section is slightly different. Don’t consider this a walk in the park! Bring your fitness and fortitude! We’ll bring the fatigue! \nNestled against the rabid waters of the beautiful Ocoee River\, the Old Copper 30 mountain bike race course is almost completely contained on the amazing singletrack of the beautiful Cherokee National Forest. The Old Copper 30 participants will enjoy wooded and flowing singletrack\, challenging climbs\, fast descents\, and just enough fire roads to catch your breath as you prepare for the next section of trail. It’s the perfect challenge! But rest assured…it IS a challenge!
