SUMMARY:Royal Gorge Six and Twelve
DESCRIPTION:Come join us at the Royal Gorge Six and Twelve\, just outside of Cañon City\, CO! This 6-12 hour endurance event is held at the beautiful Royal Gorge Park. Ride as a solo\, duo\, or team to complete the most laps in 6 or 12 hours while hanging out in a gorgeous\, family friendly venue. This is currently Zia Rides only event ever in CO\, and we hit the jackpot using Cañon City as a host. \nThe Royal Gorge Six & Twelve is arguably the most beautiful course on the Zia Rides calendar with views\, views and more views. On one side\, you look out over the fruited Great Plains of America. On another side\, you have fantastic views of the Royal Gorge and all the way down to the Arkansas River below. And don’t forget the snow capped 14ers in every other direction from the venue. To say the spot is pretty is an understatement. \nRiders can choose from either a 6 hour or 12 hour option and compete as a solo\, duo\, or team. The course is an intermediate 10 mile. loop of fun and fast singletrack that alternates between old school rocky singletrack and flowly machine built dips and curves. It is a true mountain bikers course with plenty of variation and views to enjoy. Did we mention that Cañon City has a professional trail builder who adds new trails and keeps the current ones in tip top shape? All of this is to say that you and your crew are going to get in some killer riding. \nTo top things off\, Cañon City is a little hidden gem on the front range. In addition to having a lovely downtown\, there’s tons of fun stuff to do and other great riding in the area with spots like Royal Gorge Bridge just minutes away. Bring your crew and camp for the whole weekend at the Royal Gorge East Ridge Campground\, or just come for the race and take in beautiful views of snow-capped peaks. Whatever you choose\, we know that it’s going to be a great weekend!

DESCRIPTION:Mountain Bike and Mini Mountain Bike Kid’s Race \nAspen Cycling Club has changed the name of Prince Creek Race to Party in the Pinions as a celebration of Dave Krimstock.  All proceeds from Guest Memberships from this race going forward will go to the Dave Krimstock Scholarship Fund.   Following the race we will have an informal awards ceremony for Mens A\, B\, Women’s A\, Overall short course.  \nDate: May 7\, 2025\nEvent Type: Mountain Bike and Mini Mountain Bike Kid’s Race\nLocation: Prince Creek Trail System in Carbondale.\nParking: Very limited parking is available at the Prince Creek Trails. Please park at Roaring Fork High School and ride to the start line (about 25 minutes at an easy pace). \nMini MTB Course for youth entering 1-8th grade.  This race will take place between the start of the Short Course and Long Course.  Must Sign up here check in between 5-5:30pm with signed waiver only 1 needed per rider per year\nParents must stay on site and help marshal the mini course.\nPARENT’S OF MINI COURSE RIDERS PLEASE BE AT THE BULLPEN BY 5:30PM FOR MARSHALL ASSIGNMENTS\nStart 6:03pm

These are fun low-key grassroots races open to the public. The course changes every week\, but is typically a 1-mile lap and most races are 4-5 laps\, or about 25 minutes. DESCRIPTION:THE BEAR – AN ICONIC SPRING MTB KICKOFF\nRattler Racing is excited to be hosting one of Colorado’s original XC races.  Come join us on April 5\, 2025 for a classic front range mountain bike race. The approximate 10 mile loop will have plenty of tough short climbs\, killer single track\, quick descents and plenty of meandering through Bear Creek Lake Park to keep things interesting. This is the perfect way to test your legs after the winter training season. \nBear Creek Lake Park has supported Rattler events for 8 years and we’re always excited to partner with them. They have developed and maintained excellent trails in the park that we all benefit from. We will keep you posted on volunteer opportunities so we can all contribute to the land we love! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPARK ENTRY: Your entry fee into The Bear covers your access into Bear Creek Lake Park. When you pull up to the gate\, please let them know in the nicest of ways that you are there for the mountain bike race\, and they will kindly let you in. They will be busy so please study the map and directions below for directions to the venue. We will have signs on the roads as well. You are heading to Pelican Point. \n\n\n\n\nWhat to Expect\n\n\n\n\nAmazing XC loop right in Colorado’s front range and central to the Denver Metro area. This 10+ mile course will challenge you with 800 feet vertical per lap.
