At that time\, the race began with a police escort through town before climbing 1300 feet out of the Laramie valley and into the stunning landscape that graces our backyard to the east – the Pole Mountain Trail System. Over the years this race has transformed to maintain a traditional approach to a cross country race\, while adapting with the evolution of cross country culture. Our first change occurred when the title was changed to the Laramie Enduro. Former Laramie Enduro Board President\, Rich Vincent took over the helm and the race became one of SE Wyoming’s premier cycling events. Eventually\, the Laramie Enduro evolved again into the Laramie Enduro Epic. In that same evolutionary spirit and continuing commitment to a high quality\, fun cross country mountain bike event\, today we are proud to represent ourselves as the Laramie Range Epic. \nThe race crew is excited to bring you the same excellence and professionalism you have come to expect when racing near Laradise\, the home of the Laramie Range Epic.

DESCRIPTION:So why Breck Epic? \nLet me explain. No\, there is too much. Let me sum up;  The Breck Epic. Back to the beginning. When mountain biking was about big rides with friends. About lending a hand when a rider went down. About a shared experience that somehow\, flying in the face of all logic\, disproportionately enriched all involved. \nThe Epic is composed of 6 BIG backcountry loops (3 loops for the 3-day Epic-curious events)\, each between 35 and 50 miles long. The event is unique in that it employs a cloverleaf format; each loop starts and finishes within a mile from downtown Breckenridge and utilizes the sprawling network of trails in both Summit and Park Counties. When mapping out the courses we asked ourselves; “What big rides would we want to tackle if we had most of the day to slaughter and 6 of our best friends?” The answer lies before you. The six stages that compose the Epic are a well-rounded rider’s dream. Long rhythmic climbs followed by endless descents that make your smile muscles hurt. \nIn a bizarre way\, we have the assorted governing bodies to thank. Mountain biking seemed like an afterthought for many\, many\, many years. We’ll grant that that’s changing and it’s important to acknowledge that that doesn’t happen with someone pushing it from the inside. But the unintended result of being treated like the proverbial redheaded step-child for a decade-and-a-half is 6-day race in Breckenridge\, CO that lives among a small but thriving handful of kick-ass bucket-list races.

DESCRIPTION:October 24th\, 2026 (Opens Feb. 1st\, 2026) \nThe return of the Classic Lake Sonoma MTB Hopper. Traditionally we have held this race in the early Spring but with the seasonal high water and creek crossings it’s just not possible; so we’ve pivoted to a Special Event\, stand alone race. This loop includes over 20 miles of narrow\, swoopy and flowing single track. With a shark tooth profile you’re either going up\, or down on a some of the best single track in NorCal.
