The 2026 course will showcase a fresh take on Cedar City’s rugged beauty—featuring an all-new route across gravel\, sand\, and rock\, at altitude\, with a dynamic array of rippable unroad spiciness (no crazy single-track this time). \nCedar City continues to welcome us with open arms\, rolling out the red\, yellow\, and black carpet to host one of the most unique endurance weekends in the country. Expect waffles\, world-class racing\, cold beer\, and that signature blend of chaos and camaraderie that makes the BWR the Hell of the South (West). \nThe BWR Festival 2026: The Unroad Classic at Altitude \nFrom June 12–13\, the Belgian Waffle Ride Festival transforms Cedar City into a celebration of unroad culture. The weekend kicks off with Friday’s pre-race gathering—where riders\, sponsors\, and locals mingle over beer\, banter\, and pre-race nerves—and culminates in Saturday’s full-throttle race and post-ride feast of waffles and Belgian ale. \nThe BWR Utah stands apart from its coastal cousin in Del Mar. Where California’s course blends beachside climbs and canyon grit\, Utah’s landscape trades ocean air for alpine altitude—rolling through red-rock valleys\, sandy sectors\, and long\, punishing stretches of gravel under the open desert sky. \nDay 1: Friday\, June 12\, 2026 – Rider Check-In & Unroad Expo \nFriday’s Expo is the heartbeat of the weekend\, bringing together riders\, vendors\, and the community in the heart of Cedar City. \nOver 50 exhibitors will showcase the latest in bikes\, gear\, and performance tech. Local food trucks\, craft beer\, and live music will fuel the good vibes while riders collect their packets\, pre-ride\, and prep for Saturday’s showdown. \nMake sure to join us for the Friday Night Social\, where we’ll toast to the weekend with our partners and a first round of Belgian ale. \nDay 2: Saturday\, June 13\, 2026 – The Seventh Annual Belgian Waffle Ride Utah \nThe main event. DESCRIPTION:Belgian Waffle Ride (BWR) Montana\nThe Belgian Waffle Ride (BWR) Montana\, known as “The Hell of the Bozone\,” is set to launch in Bozeman in June 2025\, adding a rugged\, breathtaking new location to the iconic BWR Series. Scheduled for the last week of June\, the event will welcome cyclists to Montana’s wild and scenic backcountry\, showcasing a unique blend of challenging gravel paths\, single-track trails\, and off-road sectors\, all amid the picturesque Rocky Mountains and Bozeman’s renowned gravel network. \nBozeman’s mild June climate and vast stretches of unpaved paths\, rivers\, and plains make it a prime setting for the “unroad” adventure the BWR Series is celebrated for. Participants can anticipate courses designed with a meticulous balance of “rippable” terrain—gravel\, sand\, mud\, water crossings\, and technical climbs—requiring both stamina and skill. As always\, BWR events include three main course options: the full “Waffle\,” an intermediate “Wafer\,” and the shorter “Wanna Ride\,” allowing a wide range of riders to partake in the experience. In addition to the varied terrain\, riders will find frequent Feed Zones stocked with Belgian waffles and other snacks\, alongside energetic volunteers providing support every 20 miles.​ \nBWR Montana is also the finale for the 2025 Quad-Tripel Crown of Gravel Series\, a new competition awarding top honors to riders who compete in three of the four selected BWR events. This format gives competitors in Arizona\, California\, Utah\, and now Montana a chance to battle it out over different terrains\, climates\, and elevations across North America. \nThe Bozeman BWR experience will be enhanced by the city’s vibrant outdoor community\, excellent dining options\, and local accommodations\, ensuring riders have a full Montana adventure.
