About Gemini Adventures
Founded in 2003, Gemini Adventures creates backcountry racing experiences for all levels of runners and bikers. We believe in fostering a fun and supportive environment where athletes can show their prowess on competitive courses with spectacular surroundings. Our events are perfect for anyone seeking a unique adventure or challenging race.
Since our organization was founded, Gemini has grown bigger and bigger each year, and so have our events. Our races are like family affairs and parties as we welcome an increasing number of participants and people into our community. Grassroots Gravel
Legendary courses Grassroots Gravel is an invitation into cycling. It’s also a top-tier race and festival. Two days of legendary races, rides, food, cycling industry and art expo, music, and friends. All wrapped in a welcoming atmosphere that we’re proud of.
Four courses, with options ranging from 15 to 113 miles are all fully supported with stocked aid stations, SAG vehicles, and the friendliest folks you'll find. Women's, Men's, and Non-binary categories, para/adaptive, singlespeed, tandem, and e-bike divisions. There's something for everyone. Grassroots Gravel has filled up before event week every year...most recently with riders from 28 states and two other countries in 2024. Get registered early!
The basics:
Friday, October 10th, 2025: Expo and festival, shakeout rides, and an evening concert with acts we're stoked on...
Saturday, October 11th, 2025: Race departs, expo and festival, and finish line party to celebrate everyone to the last rider.

Moab's Skinny Tire Events are not only fund raisers for cancer research and survivorship, but are intended to create an experience that uplifts, rewards and rejuvenates on many levels — physically with the cycling challenges, emotionally and mentally with shared stories from others about their cancer situations, losses, etc., and spiritually in the unique way that only nature can accomplish.
It's about seeing an obstacle and knowing you can get through it. It's feeling the reward on the downside of the climb — the last day of treatment — every day you choose to live versus succumb. The scenery inspires... helps one think, experience, rejuvenate & regenerate.
